One more series loss at home and,Indian team surrounded in clouds of several questions.
Not once but twice have the top order failed miserably.
But firmly stood alone the Indian skipper.
Now the question..
If Dhoni can,why cant they?
The stats for the past two matches pretty much will annoy the selectors.
Where the top order contributed a total of 29 in the first match..similarly they contributed only 90 in the next match.
The continuos failures of the top order will surely make the selectors think for a new batsman.Pujara and Rahane will be at the top list for competitors.
Where the top 5 batsmen all together contributed 125 odd runs.The skipper single handedly scored 113+54 runs and tried to save his team.
He is yet to be dismissed in this series.
Where a few days back the questions on Dhoni's captaincy arose,now arises the question of failure of the top order batting lineup.
